The K–12 STEM Pathway aligns Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics with inquiry-based instruction. Students learn to ask questions, conduct investigations, and communicate findings to the community around them. The inquiry-based approach supports students' ability to connect learning across the disciplines through non-fiction literacy and integrated curriculum.
Beginning in 6th grade, students explore engineering and science principles that deepen throughout their education — building toward career pathways in biomedical sciences, chemistry, environmental studies, engineering, and math-related fields. All core and specials classes utilize the integrated STEM approach, preparing students for higher education and careers in Connecticut's growing innovation economy.
